STENCIL...Super Stylist!

Stencil was featured in the sports girl search for a super stylist competition and has made it as a finalist!!! Unfortunately voting is now closed so we are just holding our breath in anticipation to see how she goes... pretty sure she is a sure thing tho!

my wedding in a tree

I promised wedding pics and here they are... I am SOOOOOO happy with how they turned out. We flew over a photographer Elisa J Mercurio and she captured every beautiful natural moment.

The location was Luzern in Switzerland... such a beautiful place that more than provided amazing scenery shots. We actually got married in a tree... the branches hung down so low that we could walk under them and it was like our own little room. My husband lined the tree with candles to create an isle for me to walk down.

The dress is one that I found in an op shop and altered myself. The first pic is the dress in its original condition before I took to it with the scissors! The 5 strand chain headpiece is by STENCIL and the head wreath is by Urban Blooms.

penny anne does Europe!

I literally just got off the plane back from Europe and im suffering from jet lag so what better to do with my long sleepless hours at nite then to share my pics with you all!

My travels took me to Amsterdam, Munich, Salzburg, Luzern (Switzerland), Paris, Barcelona, Venice, Rome and Milan but the main reason for going was to marry my fiance of 8 years while we were in Switzerland. We got married up the top of Luzern at a beautiful music school in a huge willow tree that we lined with candles! I promise to have pics of that soon!

So here a a few holiday snaps of me wearing Penny Anne in Europe... sorry there's not more but it was way to freezing over there to whip out the backless leotard!

STENCIL... Beautiful Mistakes

My new favourite jewellery brand has finally unveiled herself to the public... I recently collaborated with STENCIL for the latest Penny Anne Shoot for the new range "New York Doll." Not only is she super lovely and easy to work with but her amazing pieces are all hand made and nothing like I have ever seen before. Emma the creator, mixes chain with leather to create edgy pieces that can add a whole new dimension to your outfit. My favourite piece would have to be the leather and chain armband or the 5 strand chain headpiece.... with my wedding coming up in just 5 weeks Emma has kindly offered to custom make me a headpiece inspired by the 5 strand headpiece. I cant wait to show pics of that baby!!!

When ever someone asks me 'who influences your fashion', 'who is your style icon', 'who inspires you'.... the same girl always pops into my head. Kate Bosworth is not only stunningly beautiful she also emulates everything I love... relaxed, classic, bohemian, glamorous, fresh... the girl is doing a lot right! And I will certainly be taking pics of her to my hairdresser next visit!
